FAQ
-
What do I need for class?
Wear comfortable and fitted workout clothing, so instructors can see your form and alignment. Shirts are required, as are grip socks, for both safety and sanitary reasons. If you do not have grip socks, you can purchase them at the front desk before class. We sell bottled water, and students are welcome to bring their own bottle to fill at the fountain.
-
When should I arrive for class?
Please arrive 15 minutes early to your class. For safety reasons, we do not permit students to enter class late.
If there is a waitlist, we release spots to the students at the start of class.
-
What is your cancellation policy?
We have a 24-hour cancellation policy. If you cancel your reservation within 24 hours of class it is considered a “Late Cancel” and you will lose the class credit. If you cancel before that 24-hour period that credit will be returned to your account for future use. For safety reasons, latecomers will not be admitted to class.
-
Late arrival policy
For safety reasons and in order not to disrupt the class in progress, clients arriving more than 5 minutes late will have to wait to join the second half of the class.

This is my first pilates class ever. Can I join a class?
We love newcomers at Miami Pilates! Class is open level, and designed to be accessible for all levels of pilates practitioners. We recommend getting to class a bit early and letting your instructor know you are a beginner. They will be happy to provide you with extra attention and modifications throughout your class! We recommend you to try a private or duet class with one of our instructors to get to know the equipment for your best Pilates experience.
-
Can I take this class if I am pregnant?
We do not recommend taking this class for the first time while you are pregnant. If you are currently taking Miami Pilates classes regularly and have consent from your doctor, we would love to see you. Your Doctor should clear any post-pregnancy activity. Remember to be kind to your body and take your time getting back into a workout routine.

Waitlist Policy
If a class is full you may join the waitlist. To do so you must purchase a class or package. If you do not get a spot in the class the class credit will be returned to your account. If a spot opens you will be added to the class and receive an email confirmation.
Please note that if you register for an available class AND waitlist yourself for another class that same day, you will be charged for both classes per our 24 hour cancellation policy.

I have a history of injury or medical issues, can I still take class?
We’re always working to accommodate as needed to support all of our clients. If you have an injury, please call us with any questions. With certain injuries, we may recommend starting with a private session to give you personalized attention.
Please be sure to share any injuries with your instructor prior to class so we can best modify for your injury. Miami Pilates may decline class entry for injury and other safety concerns.
